Rules:


1a. Lupines may NOT be sold at any time, by anyone but the team. We have in the past allowed a few to be sold for $, but we are putting a stop to it completely now as unfortunately more and more people keep asking for allowances to do so. Please read this and realise we will not bend the rules for anyone. The only people who may earn $ from Lupines are people on the team, and only with permission from the owners (Diction/Glorfindel). Please NEVER ask for this - your PM will be ignored due to how awkward and awful it is to reply to from any one of us. We are sorry if you are having money troubles, we have had our fair share of them too, but we simply cannot continue to allow this to happen.

2. Do not alter your Lupines in any way, this includes the drawing, animation or name.

3. Do not use your Lupines in any other places other then PonyIsland, this includes the line art and all parts of your Lupine without prior permission (this does not include signatures and avatars for yourself).

4. Please always credit us when putting the Lupines on your presentation.

5. Please pay for any breeds/items from the Den immediately, unless otherwise arranged.

6. If you wish to use Lupines on a site dedicated to your PI pets thats fine.

7. No names believed to be rude or impolite in any way will be accepted.

8. Do not create or breed your own Lupines.

9. If you wish to trade your Lupine/s or items you must wait for a trading season. Lupines and there items cannot be traded OR gifted outside of trading season. Arranging trades outside trading season will result in all of your trades becoming null and void for the closest trading season, and you will have to wait till the next. We only hold trading seasons about once a year, so please be sure about the Lupines your try to win or buy!

10. Please only use the URL provided, but please do save the pictures to your computer too - this is just to ensure safety of the Lupine if anything were to happen. We do have quite a lot of backups, but not very some of the older Lupines.

11. Lupines are never repoed apart from in two cases - the first is massive rule breaking such as chargebacks and extreme cases of scamming. The second is in the case of leaving PI with no word. However, we will not even consider repoing the Lupines unless you have not logged on for over one year. We will then try any means of contact we can find first to see what you want to do, if that fails we will then repo them and give them out for free apart from in the cases of know personas, those will never be touched. We do not actively search out people who have been away a year and do not hold repo events.

12. You may not profit from Lupines (offering avatars for PG/BP/$ or any other currency). You may of course pay for fanart as normal for Lupines you designed as they are your character - but please do ask the artist about artist designed ones - all the artists would no doubt be flattered and not mind at all.

13. Please do not contact us for freebies, we are simply too busy.

14. All sales (PG, BP, $ etc) are final, we cannot offer refunds unless we make a mistake.

15. If you are leaving PI, please let us know what you would like to happen to your Lupines. Personas/family members and pets along with Lupines you paid $USD for may be kept. We will keep them on our system and would appreciete if you would write on your packpage that you are no longer active on PI. All other Lupines that were won or paid in PG/BP may be gifted to friends or can be given back to us to give away via giveaways. You may do a mixture of gifting to friends and giving back to us to give away of course.

16. Hostility, rudeness and nastiness in general with NOT be tolerated! You may be temporarily or completely removed from Argeisli. We will not accept hostility from any one in any form.

17. Lupines cannot be sold or auctioned for $, PG, BP or accounts. They may be traded (in trading season only) for other adoptables/adoptables items, artwork and ponies. If you are unsure, please check with us.

18. You MUST let us know if your Lupine changes main accounts or you have an account name change.

FAQ:

1. Aren't Lupines just wolves? Why didn't you just call them wolves? Because that would be unimaginative, they aren't exactly wolves either how many wolves do you know who live and breath in a monitor. And no, Willy Wonka hasn't been at work with edible Lupines in screens.
2. Who made what on the site? All Lupine pictures and most Lupine designs, the layout and loveliness in general of this website is made by Diction. Glorfindel wrote everything, decided on all the rules/names/ideas/prices/adoption and occasionally designs some Lupines.
3. Why are they so expensive? They're not real pets! I think they are fairly reasonable! -gasp- Yes they are real!
4. Do I have to host my own lupines? Nope, we do that for you.
5. Are you really the toothfairy? How did you know this? Yes I am thankyou.
6. Someone stole my Lupine! Please report immediately to the account: Lupines in PM, we will sort it out immediately after we receive the PM.
7. I was away with an illness and wasn't able to pick up my cubs from the nursing den. Can I still have one? Unfortunately we only keep cubs in the nursing den for ten days before they grow up and are put into the adoption den for anyone to adopt, if your cub isn't there s/he has been adopted by someone else.
8. Can I trade a lupine for things other then pony gold? Only if it is kept within PI, lupines also cannot be traded for any currency.
9. Can I have a lupine adoptable with two lupines in it? (like the Remus and Sirius one on your presentation?) No, double Lupines are given out once in a blue moon.
10. Are there any lupines in the adoption agency that have strange animation? Not at this moment, all do the same thing, customs will get you different animations, and some special breeds.
11. How do you know a lupine cub's eye colour? You don't until they grow up thats half the fun of it!
12. When I buy a customised lupine, can I choose the colour of it's eyes? On a customised Lupine you choose everything.
13. Do I have to feed my lupine? No you do not, Lupines hunt for themselves while you are away, really.
14. What is the purpose of having a lupine? The same reason anyone adopts anything on the net, the same reason people are attracted to ponyisland. Plus, they are very cute and protect your ponies!
15. What gave you the idea for lupines? Adoptable animals idea on PI came from Ravvana, which inspired Diction to make her own, Diction and Glorfindel discussed ideas for animals, came up with wolves. Glorfindel (a HP fan since the dark days - well, when HPatPS was released!) originally named them Lupins; then decided it was too obvious and took the French/Latin meaning for wolf-like instead.
16. Can I have a custom lupine that looks like a sprinkled doughnut? If you really want one. I admire your taste.
17. Where are you located? Glorfindel and Diction are in England.
18. Will you do a drawing or portrait of my lupine/pony/etc, what about tattoos...? Sometimes Diction opens commissions, check adoptables general and artwork forums.
19. Who are you? Glorfindel. The one Arwen stole Asfaloth from. The one who made the witchking cry for mummy but also was killed fighting a Balrog (stupid hair). That's me. Honest.
